Women's Retreat
Scottsdale, Arizona

In September 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to plan and execute the first-ever Women in Dentistry Retreat in partnership with Spear Education and hosted at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

This landmark event brought together over 170 attendees, alongside 10 sponsors and exhibitors, for a weekend designed to blend continuing education with a strong focus on women’s health and wellness.

We kicked off with an intimate meet-and-greet reception for our A-list speakers at the Fairmont, setting the tone for two days filled with connection, inspiration, and growth. The retreat featured a mix of CE-accredited sessions, panels, and wellness-focused workshops that gave participants a chance to learn, recharge, and connect in a supportive environment.

As the lead planner for this inaugural retreat, I managed all logistics to ensure a seamless experience for speakers, sponsors, and attendees. This included:

• Coordinating with Spear Education on program delivery and AV requirements.

• Partnering with the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess on venue logistics, catering, and accommodations.

• Managing sponsor and exhibitor participation, from contracts to onsite setup.

• Designing and overseeing registration, swag, printed materials, and branded signage.

• Handling on-site operations including setup, tear-down, and day-of troubleshooting.

• Creating a smooth guest experience from arrival at the welcome reception through to the final session.

​The success of this retreat was a testament to the power of community and collaboration in dentistry. It was a privilege to support Dr. Effie Habsha and Women in Dentistry in bringing this vision to life — and to set the stage for future retreats that continue to inspire and empower women in the field.
